The document sets out minimum standards necessary to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of routine and sleep EEG recordings. At the same time, it is indicated that based on availability specific rules and methods for conducting examinations should be proposed by medical organizations or departments independently. We present a selective translation of such recommendations and an assessment of their compliance with contemporary real-world opportunities in the Russian Federation. The possible “growth points” for the EEG technique in Russia are highlighted as well.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В 2023 г. Международная федерация клинической нейрофизиологии (англ. International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology, IFCN) и Международная Противоэпилептическая Лига (англ. International League Against Epilepsy, ILAE) Также в статье выделены возможные «точки роста» для методики ЭЭГ в России</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Электроэнцефалография</kwd><kwd>ЭЭГ</kwd><kwd>рутинная ЭЭГ</kwd><kwd>ЭЭГ сна</kwd><kwd>видео-ЭЭГ-мониторинг</kwd><kwd>рекомендации IFCN/ILAE</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Electroencephalography</kwd><kwd>EEG</kwd><kwd>routine EEG</kwd><kwd>sleep EEG</kwd><kwd>video-EEG monitoring</kwd><kwd>IFCN/ILAE recommendations</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Peltola M.E., Leitinger M., Halford J.J.
