Seventy patients with migraine and fifty-six with epilepsy conducted a study using diffusion tensor MRI. Proton spectroscopy performed on 28 patients with epilepsy and 22 with migraine.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Data were obtained, indicating changes in fractional anisotropy and average diffusion coefficient and concentration of the main neurometabolites for epilepsy and migraine that characterize the commonality of the pathogenesis of these diseases.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The research results allowed to establish the leading role of the hippocampus in the realization paroxysmal states and their pathophysiological basis of the comorbidity.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Целью работы было выяснение структурно-метаболических и нейропатофизиологических особенностей эпилепсии и мигрени, так как эти заболевания имеют общие патогенетические механизмы.</p><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. 70 пациентам с мигренью и 56 пациентам с эпилепсией проведено исследование с использованием диффузионной тензорной МРТ. Протонная спектроскопия выполнена 28 пациентам с эпилепсией и 22 пациентам с мигренью.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Были получены данные, указывающие на изменение фракционной анизотропии и средней диффузионной способности, а также концентраций основных нейрометаболитов при эпилепсии и мигрени, которые характеризуют общность патогенеза этих заболеваний.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение.
