Each newest AEDs has a unique mechanism, improved pharmacokinetics and tolerability, thereby significantly expanding the possibilities of rational therapy of epilepsy.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В статье приведены основные сведения по химической структуре, механизму действия, фармакокинетике, показаниям, противопоказаниям и перспективам клинического применения новейших противоэпилептических препаратов: эсликарбазепина, зонисамида, перампанела и руфинамида.
