Expediency of carbamazepine prolonged forms use in patients with different epilepsy forms and types of seizures is demonstrated. Besides its efficacy for stopping epileptic seizures prolonged dosage form of carbamazepine has stable plasma concentration, that is associated with better tolerability profile.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"/><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>карбамазепин</kwd><kwd>пролонгированная форма</kwd><kwd>эпилепсия</kwd><kwd>карбалепсин-ретард</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>carbamazepine</kwd><kwd>prolonged form</kwd><kwd>epilepsy</kwd><kwd>carbalepsin retard</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Громов С.А., Хоршев С.К., Михайлов В.А.Оптимизация терапии эпилепсии финлепсином.
