According to modern data, the level of non-adherence is 29–39%. Non-adherence is naturally associated with adverse clinical outcomes, such as status epilepticus and sudden death syndrome, which generally increase the risk of death. Thus, the study of the causes of low adherence in patients with epilepsy is necessary for doctors to develop strategies to increase it.</p>
Таким образом, изучение причин низкой комплаентности у пациентов с эпилепсией необходимо для разработки врачами стратегий, способствующих ее повышению.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Эпилепсия</kwd><kwd>комплаентность</kwd><kwd>неприверженность к терапии</kwd><kwd>эпилептический статус</kwd><kwd>синдром внезапной смерти</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Epilepsy</kwd><kwd>compliance</kwd><kwd>non-adherence to therapy</kwd><kwd>status epilepticus</kwd><kwd>sudden unexpected death in epilepsy</kwd><kwd>SUDEP</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Hovinga C.A., Asato M.R., Manjunath R., et al.
