Understanding the basics of how the software works should help medical staff use all its functionality correctly and ultimately improve the quality of medical care. The basic and innovative capabilities of computer software in the field of mathematical processing and analysis of EEG signals are discussed, the limitations of using mathematical processing methods are described.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Целью данной статьи является знакомство медицинских специалистов, занимающихся регистрацией и анализом электроэнцефалографических (ЭЭГ) исследований, с базовыми принципами работы и возможностями современного компьютерного программного обеспечения (ПО) для регистрации и анализа ЭЭГ. Понимание основ работы ПО должно помочь медицинскому персоналу правильно использовать весь его функционал и в конечном итоге повысить качество медицинского обслуживания.
