Understanding the principles of how quantitative EEG analysis tools work should help medical personnel to properly use their capabilities and ultimately improve quality of medical care. Here, we discuss basic and innovative mathematical tools for EEG processing and analysis.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Целью данной статьи является знакомство медицинских специалистов, занимающихся регистрацией и анализом электроэнцефалографических (ЭЭГ) исследований, с методами математической обработки и компьютерного анализа записанных ЭЭГ-данных. Понимание принципов работы инструментов количественного анализа ЭЭГ должно помочь медицинскому персоналу правильно использовать их возможности и в конечном итоге повысить качество медицинского обслуживания.
