Abstract
Modern data of frequency and structure of epilepsy in children with cerebral palsy were analyzed. Basic unfavorable prognostic factors of epilepsy development were formulated. Worsening prognosis of motor and cognitive development of children with cerebral palsy, epileptic seizures limit volume of their rehabilitation. Early prediction of epilepsy development risk in cerebral palsy children is extremely important link in the treatment choice procedure

Abstract

The structure of idiopathic focal forms of epilepsy was investigated on 1118 patients with diagnosis of epilepsy, and aged from the first days of life to 18 years. Their age enabled to monitor the debut of seizures. The methods of investigation included clinical examination, video EEG-monitoring, testing by neuropsychologist and, when necessary, neurovisualization. In 189 cases (16.9% of the total number of patients with the debut of seizures before 18) the idiopathic focal epilepsy forms were diagnosed. In 99 cases (8.8% of patients) the diagnosis was Idiopathic focal epilepsy (IFE) with central temporal spikes. The idiopathic occipital lobe epilepsy (IOE) was found in 47 patients (4.2 % of cases). IFE with pseudo-generalized seizures (IFEPGS) was observed in 31 patients (2.8% of cases). The idiopathic focal epilepsy of infancy (IFEI) was seen in 5 cases which equals to 0.5% of the total patient group. The idiopathic focal epilepsy with affective symptoms (IFEAS) was diagnosed in 7 patients (0.6%). Rolandic epilepsy was most frequently found in the IFE group (52.4% of cases). The idiopathic occipital lobe epilepsy was diagnosed in 24.9% of cases. The IFE-PGS was seen in 16.4% of patients, IFEAS - in 3.7% of cases, and IFEI - in 2.6% of cases. By and large, the results are in line with those obtained in the majority of foreign studies on the incidence rate of the idiopathic focal epilepsy forms.

Abstract
The given work has been undertaken for an estimation of major factors of failure of remission of an epilepsy, and also correlation revealing between duration of disease and risk of relapse. We had been surveyed and analysed 104 patients with an epilepsy, without expressed mental retardation, observed in medical center «Nevromed». From them to the basic group - (relapse presence) has been carried 76 persons, to control group - (without relapse) - 28 patients. The importance of two major factors has been revealed: forms of an epilepsy and current type. The probability of relapse, according to the received results, remains throughout all duration of disease.

Abstract
Generality of neurobiological processes in the most common CNS disorders could be verified. Thus, the acute pathology of the nervous system is accompanied by increased permeability ("breakthrough") of blood-brain barrier (BBB), which is trigger for inclusion of autoimmune mechanisms. This is often requiring a chronic neurodegenerative process. In particular, elevated levels of neuron specific antigens (NSA) in the peripheral blood could be causes the synthesis of correspond antibodies and secondary violation of BBB permeability which has autoimmune reasons. Dysfunction of CNS neutransmitter systems accompanies by chronic diseases. Often this is a consequence of primary damage to the nervous tissue in violation of the BBB resistance. Bu-turn, this has an impact on the BBB condition. Further investigations of these pathogenetic aspects that are common to a large number of CNS diseases, will strengthen the importance of an integrated approach in the treatment and prevention.

Abstract
Possibilities of application the prolonged form valproic acid and antioxidant in secondary - generalized seizures was investigated in experiment and in clinical study in patients with epilepsy. In rats with cobalt-induced epilepsy their efficacy has been revealed by the suppression of determinant hearth in the cortex, which is as a hypothalamus the leading focus for the developing epileptic system in forming of secondary - generalized seizers. Depakine Chronosphere statistically significantly surpasses Depakine Chrono in activity of removal epileptiform discharges in electrocorticogrammes it was determined optimal daily dose of antioxidant Mexidol and interval between the taking of Depakine Chronosphere and injection of antioxidant. Combination of antioxidant and anticonvulsant promotes greater control of seizures in patients with focal symptomatic and/or cryptogenic epilepsy.

Abstract
We examined the clinical and genetic evaluation of SERT and TPH2 genes SNP polymorphisms role in the development of side effects during topiramate therapy taking into account gender features. Found significant differences in the severity of topiramate side effects in the nervous system and psycho-emotional sphere in patient groups with different variants of alleles, and identified gender features in elaboration of depression and emotional lability
